#PUBLICTAPE

A social design movement as part of a research master in Graphic Design at London College of Communication (UAL) started by a Mexican Architect.

This project tries to reactivate temporally public spaces with tape creating graphic interventions, in order to provoke discussion and thoughts about public space on users following the concept of tactical urbanism.
Tactical urbanism is a city, organizational, and/or citizen-led approach to neighbourhood building short-term, low-cost, and scalable interventions intended to catalyse long-term change.

- Mike Lydon.
Whether you are familiar or not with this concept, you can join the conversation on twitter or here in the webpage sharing your thoughts & commenting the interventions.

If you are interested in getting creative and reactivate your public spaces like parks, streets, squares, etc. You can upload and share with #PublicTape your own interventions.

Here is a quick guide of how to #PublicTape.
