SUPERGRAPHICS

Fascinating visuals created by pushing graphic design out of its conventional scale.

During the 60s and 70s, ‘supergraphics’ were used to describe gigantic graphics in architecture that extended from walls to floor and ceilings. They had to be out of proportion with their surroundings, there were no-go areas in supergraphics.

Nowadays supergraphics are described as:
Any super-sized image or gigantic typographic message splashed across a wall or architectural surface, internal or external”.
